I have recently partnered with Plaid Dog Recording and am in preproduction for a new solo record titled “223 Water Street”. This project will include new and previously unreleased material of my own as well as some collaborations.

MAD MEOW MUSIC studio near completion

Over the last month or so I’ve converted a room in my apartment into a home studio. I turned my teeny tiny closet into an isolation booth. Here I’ll be able to practice, record new music and VO work, and live stream performances. I’m really excited to be completely self-sufficient in the recording process and am grateful to have a space where I can create freely. I ran across a few roadblocks, mostly in building the isolation booth...and keeping my new kittens Lady Alice & The Professor from hanging from the soundproofing tiles... Stay tuned for a fun video of the process!

CHORUS - a new song and video documenting historic Black Lives Matter protests around the country.

Finally, I am near completion editing and producing “Chorus”; a video combining a song I wrote with Joey Veneziani (my dear friend and musical collaborator). The video features photographs by Black photographers taken in different parts of the country of Black Lives Matter protests. Many thanks to Vanessa Charlot, Anthony Geathers, Dominick Williams, and JBeezy for permission to feature their inspiring and historic photographs. Thanks to Samantha Weisenthal for all of her help. Also many thanks to up-and-coming Arlo Green for editing and co-producing this video. You can see more of Arlo’s work on the video for my most recent release, Summertime.
